Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is named after its geographical location which means "inside the river". Indeed, the city is surrounded by rivers and holds a lot of lakes inside. In recent years, because of global warming, water level in these water bodies rise very fast, especially during rainfall season. This phenomenon combines with bad water sewage system prevent rain water from receding and hence flooding occurs in the city. It causes damages and inconvenience for the habitants of Hanoi.
