La Pan Tan, a small village 300km away from Hanoi, houses 620 families of ethnic minority, 92,96% out of which live in extreme poverty. On September 7 2012, a landslide killed 17 people, leaving many children without their parents.  Many people in the country have been making donations to help them overcome this tragedy. On the occasion of the Moon Festival, a traditional festival celebrated by both adults and children in Vietnam, DC Tuan and his friends went on a 2-day motorbike trip to the village. They brought with them books and mooncakes donated by staff of Thomson Reuters to deliver to the unfortunate children of the village.
